striper

Not much news to report on the stripers. Did hear there was a 34lber caught on the fly late Friday evening and they released the fish. Henry C. saw the fish and said it was one of the fattest fish he has ever seen on Lanier. My fishing has been the same as it has been for weeks. A little of everything. I did not fish today and do not plan to fish tomorrow either. See yall on the pond next week.

stripers

Right now there appears to be no strong pattern for the stripers. Earlier in the week, the umbrella bite was getting stronger and now it is back to the downline. The best depth was 28 ft deep over a 50 to 60 ft bottom this morning. The weather changes every few days keeps the pattern changing. The better fishing continues to be on the north end of the lake. I am hearing of some fish on the south end but I have been unable to leave the fish on the north end. The fish on the south end have been in the backs of the creeks and good size.
