Getting very close to the topwater bite here on Lake Lanier. Starting to see a few random fish early in the morning hours and hearing some reports of a few schools coming up late in the evenings. Overall, fishing has been pretty good. Most mornings we have been doing well on the downline in the bays off the main channel. The trolling bite is gone. No more pulse jigs for now. Be sure to have the redfins and other topwater baits in the lake from here on out.
